Planting your new NURSERY SELECTIONS
Thoroughly water all nursery plants before planting and remove containers according to our recommendations.
Avoid disturbing the root system or removing the soil in which the plant was grown.
Dig a hole twice the width and several inches deeper than the root ball. Place the new plant’s root ball on a layer of soil mixed with pre-moistened peat moss and composted manure or Triple Mix.
Plant your nursery plant at the level it was grown in the pot.
Fill the hole half way with the fresh soil mix. Water thoroughly using a transplant solution. Finish filling the hole, firmly packing down the soil and water again. Once the soil has settled, you may need to "top up" with more water and/or soil.
Thorough and deep watering during dry spells will help the plant develop properly the first season. Apply mulch to the soil around the new plant to hold moisture and reduce weed growth.

MYKE PRODUCT
We're really excited about a new line of growth-stimulators called MYKE. MYKE contains a benficial fungus which occurs naturally in soil but may need to be refreshed. Adding the fungus to the soil pior to planting helps roots absorb water and nutrients. Plants treated with MYKE are healthier and establish themselves quickly.
A concentrated liquid fertilizer plus root stimulator to improve post-transplant peformace. Use for all transplanting from bedding plants to large trees.
